Siding Material and Color

Wheelwright Cluster is now approved for homeowners to begin updating their house colors to be in compliance with the new house color palette

  • Wheelwright Guidelines require a completed Siding Color Change DRB application to be submitted to the Wheelwright BOD for changing of house colors.
  • If a homeowner is choosing to change siding materials from wood or vinyl siding to cement board they will need to fill out a RA DRB Form.
  • We are now approved for 8″ OC T1-11 wood siding, resilient trim materials, paint in addition to solid color stain, trim capping to be used on any house, new trim capping color to match Olympic Oxford Brown color (not Musket Brown), house colors for upper vertical grooved siding to be available in the new color palette.
  • Homeowners will have a 10 year timeframe (starting October 2021) to become compliant with the new house colors or when substantive repair, replacement, or repaint happens; whichever comes first.
  • No adjacent houses may be painted the same color.
  • Wheelwright BOD approval comes on a “first come, first serve” basis; ensure your DRB forms are correct and complete before submission. The Wheelwright Board or our RA Covenants Advisor can help with any questions.
  • DRB forms will need to be completely filled out and submitted to either the President or Vice President for signatures.
  • BOD approval typically takes one business day, but the DRB application must be approved before the project can begin.
  • Once the BOD has approved, homeowners have 6 months to begin the project and 18 months to complete.
  • Trim color to remain Olympic Oxford Brown
  • Stucco color to remain Duron Amber White
  • Any brand of paint may be used, but color must match the original brand color.
  • Wheelwright Cluster has a discount coupon available at the Sherwin-Williams store on Elden St. Contact the Wheelwright Board to obtain a coupon.
