Tree Work: Tuesday, August 21st

Tree60 will be on site Tuesday, August 21st to remove the large oak tree behind 2246, which has been severely weakened by the recent rain. This work is necessary to prevent property damage, such as occurred earlier this month.

As part of that work, the spaces in front of, and adjacent to, 2246 need to be cleared for the crane and debris removal. Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated!

Concrete Work: Summer 2018

The Wheelwright Cluster has hired a concrete contractor to do some repair work throughout the community. At the same time, the contractor is willing to perform concrete work on private residences at a reduced rate, provided that the work is performed concurrently with the cluster work and/or with other homeowners’ work. The prices are as follows:

  • Walkways (up to 20’ x 3’) = $1,000.00.
  • A/C (Trash) Pads (8’ x 3’) = $650.00.
  • Front Stoops (up to 6’ x 6’) = $750.00.

Interested homeowners should contact the Board President (Jessica Joyner) about the work they would like to have done.

Full payment is required on the day they start.  If you have any concerns about the work once completed, you should contact Jessica.

Once we get a complete list of homeowners, the contractor will return to verify and confirm pricing.

Upcoming Erosion Work: Monday, June 25, 2018

Planned erosion work in the cluster will start on Monday, June 25th (tomorrow). It is anticipated to take a week to complete and will likely result in some noise during daytime hours.

The areas most affected will be between units 2215 and 2217, 2231 and 2233, and 2249 and 2251, as well as all areas around the tot lot.

Please try to keep the parking spaces around these areas clear to allow the workmen from Sunrise Landscaping access.

If you have any question, please contact Kristina Myers (Board of Directors Contact Information).

Thank you for understanding the short notice as we work to improve our community!

Rescheduled Tree Work: Monday, May 21, 2018

The maintenance work for the oak tree in front of 2216 has been rescheduled for Monday, May 21st  from 8 am to 12 pm. As already noted, to effectively perform this work, we need all residents and guests to move their cars from the spaces in front of 2214 through 2224 to accommodate the tree maintenance team. If a car is still parked during this time and the tree service cannot perform their maintenance, the vehicle will be towed at the expense of the car owner. Individual notices will be delivered to the affected residents as well.

Thanks for your understanding!

Upcoming Tree Work – May 17, 2018

Based on resident concerns and a professional evaluation, the oak tree in front of 2216 is scheduled to be medicated and trimmed. The work will be performed on Thursday, May 17th from 8 am to 12 pm. To effectively perform this work, we need all residents and guests to move their cars from the spaces in front of 2214 through 2224 to accommodate the tree maintenance team. If a car is still parked during this time and the tree service cannot perform their maintenance, the vehicle will be towed at the expense of the car owner. This tree maintenance will address:

  • Dead wood that is at risk of falling on cars, houses, and loved ones; and
  • Sap falling on cars due to pests in the tree.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to make the community safe and beautiful for all residents and guest!
